hello@mustafamasvi.com

Hi, my name is

Mustafa Masvi.

I design AI systems that survive production.

I'm an Enterprise AI Architect with 10+ years in software. I started as a full-stack developer and now lead AI programmes for government and large enterprises across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America and Australia — from the RFP to the architecture to delivery.

About Me

Hello! I'm Mustafa. I started out in 2016 building web apps — Angular, .NET, Node and whatever the project needed — and spent the next few years shipping enterprise products for HP at In Time Tec and an equipment-finance platform at Odessa.

Somewhere along the way the questions I cared about changed. Less "how do I build this screen?", more "what should this system do, and how will it fail?" Today I'm a Technical Architect at In Time Tec, where I helped build the enterprise AI practice from its start. The practice has since taken on more than 50 AI projects and proofs of concept, many of them with me as architect.

I work across the whole arc: shaping the RFP response, scoping the POC, designing the architecture, and getting it through security review into production. Around 80% of the proposals I've worked on have turned into funded projects.

I don't define myself by the work I've done — I define myself by the work I want to do. Skills can be taught; personality is inherent. I'm an ENTJ, a fast learner, and happiest when an idea becomes something people actually use.

Here are a few things I've been working with recently:

  • LangGraph & multi-agent systems
  • RAG & GraphRAG
  • Azure AI Search
  • Model Context Protocol
  • AI evaluation & guardrails
  • Prompt-injection defence
  • Python & TypeScript
  • .NET
  • Edge inference (Jetson Orin)
  • Azure & AWS

Where I've Worked

Technical Architect @ In Time Tec

Dec 2022 – Present

  • Helped build the company's enterprise AI practice from its start; the practice has taken on 50+ AI projects and POCs, many with me as architect.
  • Design agentic systems (LangGraph, swarm patterns, MCP integrations) and retrieval systems (RAG, hybrid search on Azure AI Search, GraphRAG, text-to-SQL).
  • Lead AI programmes for government and large enterprises across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.
  • Own pre-sales architecture with global sales — RFPs, SOWs, POC scoping and client demos; ~80% of proposals convert into funded projects.
  • Set the security and evaluation bar: prompt-injection defence, agentic threat models, and evaluation gates before go-live.

Staff Engineer @ Odessa

Oct 2019 – Dec 2022

  • Implemented the Master Data Configuration (MDC) feature to seed metadata or migrate data between environments.
  • Used JetBrains dotTrace and SQL techniques to improve product performance by more than 60% at multiple module levels.
  • Developed code analyzers on the .NET Roslyn engine to find potential errors in application code and keep the codebase maintainable.
  • Enhanced Odessa's job scheduler using Windows services and Quartz.
  • Implemented various enhancements to the Odessa Test Tool.
  • Promoted to the Core Platform Team from the Delivery Team.

Senior Software Engineer @ In Time Tec

Jul 2016 – Oct 2019

  • Built enterprise products for HP: the LaserJet Product Configurator, AutoDocs contract generation, the JAB device-management portal and the Foster MPS quoting system.
  • Worked across Angular, TypeScript, .NET / .NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, Ionic, Node and AWS.
  • Ran a .NET Core workshop for 30 developers and worked daily with designers, product owners and clients.

Writing

Earlier writing on software careers and craft. New writing on AI at scale lives on the blog.

Let's build something that ships.

I'm open to architecture roles and advisory work on enterprise and government AI programmes. If you're planning one — or you're stuck somewhere between POC and production — my inbox is always open.
